2023 Photography Policy.

Only those photographers listed in the official show program, or granted prior written permission by a representative of the media relations team, are permitted to conduct commercial photography and/or video activities both during and post-event. The advertising, solicitation, and sale of any other photography is strictly prohibited, including private client photography. Those who do not comply with this policy will be asked to leave the show grounds. Photography for personal use only is permitted.

This policy applies to the following events organized by Wesley Clover Parks, all third-party events are subject to the photography policy put in place by their organizing committee.

LILLIE KEENAN CLAIMS $225,000 RBC GRAND PRIX AT MAJOR LEAGUE SHOW JUMPING OTTAWA

Lillie Keenan of the United States laid claim to the $225,000 RBC Grand Prix on Sunday, August 27, to close out the Major League Show Jumping Ottawa tournament at Wesley Clover Parks in Ottawa, ON. It was a battle to the end as the 34-horse starting field was whittled down for the jump-off after 10 jumped clear over the track set by Canada’s Michel Vaillancourt on Wesley Clover Parks’ expansive grass field.  The jump-off proved to be full of surprises as the riders laid everything on the line. AMANDA DERBYSHIRE DOMINATES WHALESBONE GROUP GRAND PRIX

Roadrunners Top Major League Show Jumping Ottawa Team Event

Great Britain’s Amanda Derbyshire took her place at the top of the podium after winning the $38,500 CSI2* Whalesbone Group Grand Prix on Saturday, August 26, at the Major League Show Jumping Ottawa tournament taking place at Wesley Clover Parks in Ottawa, ON. Of her first visit to Ottawa and Wesley Clover Parks, Derbyshire noted, “The facility is beautiful, and one restaurant is better than the other; we are eating our way right through town!  There are very few grass fields nowadays to get to jump on, and this one is beautiful.  The horses have jumped great all week and we’re grateful to be here.” Read more from Jump Media

Held as part of the Ottawa Summer Tournaments I taking place from July 5 to 9, 2023, the $5,000 Struck Speed Derby attracted 19 entries to the grass field where speed was the name of the game with the fastest time winning. KELLEY ROBINSON WINS SEASON OPENER AT WESLEY CLOVER PARKS

Kelley Robinson of Russell, ON, opened the show jumping season at Wesley Clover Parks in Ottawa, ON, with a hometown win in the $15,000 Julia MacAngus Memorial Grand Prix on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Shane Wooley designed an inviting course in the All-Weather Ring which saw three horse-and-rider combinations jump clear in the first round and advance to the all-deciding jump-off.  Robinson was the first to go and laid down another clear round riding Foolproof in a time of 36.10 seconds, setting the standard for the two riders still to come. MELISSA MARCOTTE TOPS HUNTER SPECTACULAR AT WESLEY CLOVER PARKS

Melissa Marcotte of Contrecoeur, QC, won the $5,000 Hunter Spectacular and Team Challenge, presented by Giant Tiger, on Sunday, September 18, 2022, to close out the Ottawa National show jumping tournament at Wesley Clover Parks. With both individual and team titles up for grabs, the Hunter Spectacular attracted a large starting field of 45 entries for a fun-filled competition. Three heights were offered – 2’6”, 2’9” and 3’ – with teams consisting of one rider competing at each height. Ottawa’s own Rayne Dubois won the $20,000 Grand Prix, presented by Saniton Plastic, on Saturday, September 17, 2022, during the Ottawa National show jumping tournament at Wesley Clover Parks. The win marked the second trip to the grand prix winner’s circle at Wesley Clover Parks this season for Dubois and Dublin.
