10 Years of Tournaments Scavenger Hunt! 🕵️♂️
Celebrating our decade-long journey, we invite riders, friends, and families attending our Hunter Jumper (Gold and Silver/Bronze), and Horse Trials competitions to embark on a season-long quest!
In honor of this milestone, we're presenting two ongoing scavenger hunts via Goosechase's online platform. One hunt targeted at our Gold shows and another targeted at our Silver, Bronze, and Horse Trials shows. Each hunt will include missions that will take you from the show ring to local businesses, from rule books to your own backyard!
Should you accept this mission, prizes of increasing value will be awarded to the top 20 competitors in each hunt!
Complete missions, win points, and rise to the top of the tournaments. So, stop horsin’ around, it's game on!
How to register:
Download the Goosechase app in The App Store or Google Play.
Create a free account (or play as a guest).
Search for the name of the hunt you want to participate in and select join: “Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments Gold Hunt” or “Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments Silver/Bronze/Eventing Hunt”.
Get ready for a season to remember!
Duration:
Gold: May 13 @ 12pm - October 1 @ 12pm
Silver/Bronze/Horse Trials: May 8 @ 12pm - October 14 @ 12pm

Goosechase is an online scavenger hunt platform.

Nope, joining the scavenger hunt is free! Some missions include visiting and partaking in local businesses.

Most of the season long missions are the same but we have tailored the missions released during each show to match the activities available. If you are attending both, feel free to participate in both!

The missions may involve being on site at the horse show and Wesley Clover Parks or take you out into the community to visit some of our site partners and businesses. You may also be able to complete some missions from the comfort of your home!
Different types of mission require different things, whether it be a written answer, photo, video, or geo tag.

Yes! Join at any point during the season. Though be aware some missions are only available to complete for a limited amount of time.

Download the Goosechase app on your mobile device and search for either “Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments Gold Hunt” or “Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments Silver/Bronze/Eventing Hunt” .

While each player account will only be treated as a single person (along with prize giving), feel free to collaborate with friends, barn mates, competitors, and other players on missions and submissions!

Nope! You can pick and choose which missions to complete. Keep in mind different missions are worth different amounts of points. Some missions are designed to be more challenging than others to prevent an all-way tie.

We’ll be posting new missions throughout the show season so keep an eye out for more!

We’ll make announcements on our social media (follow @ottawaequestriantournaments) as well as on the app, so make sure goosechase notifications are on.

We may use some of the photos for promotional materials, but no personal information will be stored or shared.

We welcome participation in both hunts, however in the interest of community, if an individual places in the top 3 of both hunts, they will only be awarded the prizes for one of the hunts. The other prize will go to the next highest participant in the rankings.
